Have you ever looked at boudoir photographs your friends have had taken and think “they are gorgeous but that’s just not me”? You are not alone! While boudoir sessions can be very empowering for some women, they are not so for all. These beautiful fine art portraits of Bruni were inspired by the movies.
A few weeks before the session took place a mood board was created showing ideas for hair, make-up and wardrobe. I sought out all wardrobe pieces and even included the Pantone color of the year – Ultraviolet, in silk to wrap around the client, creating the illusion of a dress.
We met at a unique studio in Tribeca where hair and make-up were done on site. The results were beautiful and we had lots of fun!
